Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot: Mark Burnham cast as “Old Man Leatherface”!

So this is exciting! Our friends at Bloody-Disgusting have reported that actor Mark Burnham (Lowlife) has been cast as "Old Man Leatherface" in the upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot from director David Blue Garcia (Tejano) and producer Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead remake)!

Here's the official synopsis:

In 1974, the world witnessed one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of American history. In 2021, the face of madness returns!

Meanwhile, the reboot – also starring Elsie Fisher (Castle Rock), Sarah Yarkin (Happy Death Day 2U), Mark Burnham (Wrong Cops), Moe Dunford (The Dig), Olwen Fouéré (Mandy), Alice Krige (Star Trek), Jacob Latimore (The Maze Runner), Nell Hudson (Victoria), Jessica Allain (The Laundromat), Sam Douglas (Snatch), William Hope (Dark Shadows), and Jolyon Coy (War & Peace)  – has no official release date as of yet, but we'll keep you posted!
