A lot of genre fans were hoping that Mia Goth would get a Best Actress nomination at the Oscars this year for her performance in the horror movie Pearl (watch it HERE) – a film that even earned strong praise from Martin Scorsese. When Goth wasn’t nominated, the actress provided a statement in which she said she thinks the Oscars would benefit from including horror more often. In the latest episode of The Arrow in the Head Show, hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek have a conversation about the Academy’s tendency to snub horror, and also make a request for viewers to send in questions for them to answer on a future episode.
