Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, and Annabelle Comes Home characters, married paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, in the upcoming sequel The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It – which is set to reach theatres and the HBO Max streaming service on June 4, 2021. While doing press for The Devil Made Me Do It, both actors have revealed that they would happily continue playing the Warrens in more Conjuring Universe films beyond this one.
Farmiga told Empire Magazine,
Oh my God, I'd love to [continue]. It's interesting, we have to up the fear in each one. Demonology is already so high-pitched and operatic."
Wilson added,
We constantly want to push these characters. I would like to [continue] – for no other reason than I would want to keep playing opposite Vera."
They're not just throwing this wish out into the void, either. Farmiga confirmed that there's already "definitely some talk of continuing". So it sounds like we can look forward to more Wilson / Farmiga Ed and Lorraine action even after we see The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It later this year. That's great news as far as I'm concerned, because I love watching them play these characters.

The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 director James Wan crafted the story with Johnson-McGoldrick and produced the film with Peter Safran. Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Michelle Morrissey served as executive producers.
