Uh ohhhh! Somersoult jump! It sounds as if Justin Roiland, the creator of the rude, crude, and whacked-out animated series RICK AND MORTY, is game for making a movie based on the mega-popular property!

While promoting the release of his company's first video game, Trover Saves The Universe, Roiland braved the dicey threads of a Reddit AMA, where the RICK AND MORTY creative expressed interest in creating a motion picture featuring the series' repulsive yet oddly endearing characters.

During the AMA presentation, a fan asked Roiland, "Will we get a feature length Rick and Morty film ever? A rated R film that's totally bananas?"

Roiland then set the Q & A on fire by saying "I would love to do that, yeah. Hmm. Hmmmmmm."

And just like that, the digital crowd went wild, with one Reddit user being quick to shout "Six seasons and a movie! And then four more seasons."

While no concrete plans for a RICK AND MORTY film have been officially announced, fans of the gross-out sci-fi animated series are bound to be stroking their Pickle Ricks to the idea that Roiland is entertaining the possibility of creating a feature starring his beloved characters. Meanwhile, RICK AND MORTY is set to return to the small screen this November, as part of the show launching another 70 episodes.

As Lad Bible points out, Roiland told Polygon back in June of last year that he and RICK AND MORTY co-creator Dan Harmon are "super excited that, for the first time ever, we're locked in, we know what the future is, we have job security." Roiland then continued by saying that "Harmon is in great spirits, we have a great writer's room. We want the episodes to stay good, but we do also want to try to turn them around a little quicker now that we have this big order, I think it gives us the ability to be faster."

Roiland then added, "We're not going to do these long breaks, these chasms in between seasons anymore. We're going to schedule vacation time and just keep the machine going. It's going to be really cool."

Wubbalubbadubdub! Are you ready for the Age of RICK AND MORTY to begin anew? Is your body ready for more sick raps, fouls smells, and time traveling shenanigans? I sure hope so, because Rick and Morty are set to return this November, and no animation enthusiast will be safe from their ridiculous wrath.
