The F*cking Black Sheep: Santa’s Slay (Video)

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

Lance Vlcek gets into the Christmas spirit with the latest entry in his The F*cking Black Sheep video series, taking a look at the 2005 holiday slasher SANTA'S SLAY (you can pick up a copy HERE). Written and directed by David Steiman, the film stars professional wrestler Bill Goldberg as a homicidal Santa Claus, and this killer Santa isn't just a guy in a costume like in SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT. This is the actual, magical Santa – who happens to be a child of Satan.

The official synopsis:

It turns out that Santa Claus is not really the sweet old fellow that we all know and love. In fact, he's a devil and the only thing that's kept his bad side in check was a bet he lost with an angel. After 1000 years of playing nice, the bet is up and Santa is about to open a can of holiday Whoop-Ass! The only glimmer of hope comes from an old man (Robert Culp) with a secret, his grandson (Douglas Smith) and his girlfriend (Emilie de Ravin). Brace yourself for one really bad Santa, bent on spreading holiday fear!

I find SANTA'S SLAY to be a fun movie to watch, so I'm glad to see Lance giving it the Black Sheep treatment. It's not one I could return to every Christmas season, but I like to revisit it every couple years or so.

Check out the video below and see if SANTA'S SLAY is something you'd like to add to your viewing list this year, if you're not already planning to take in some Goldberg-Santa mayhem.
