In only a couple weeks we will see the continuation of the smash hit STRANGER THINGS, which sees Will (Noah Schnapp) having strange visions of the Upside Down and a Cthulhu-ish monster, and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) on the lamb (Eggos in tow). The final trailer is here teasing all the horror and mystery, and from the looks of it, things are going to be way more intense this time around. I’m not saying that I thought about THE PURGE when those guys in masks show up, I’m saying I immediately thought about THE PURGE.
I've been trying to avoid the majority of teasers and trailers for this movie so that everything stays fresh when I binge it in two weeks. Gotta say, though, things are looking pretty extreme this time around. More monsters, more chaos, more teen angst; this new season will have it all. My only hope is that it's not too dark, that the showrunners remember the first season had humor and charm to it, mostly via the young cast. Bigger doesn't always mean better, even if that massive Cthulhu-ish monster looks siiiiick.
