The first trailer for Michael Bay’s Transformers: The Last Knight is here!

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Say what you will about Michael Bay's TRANSFORMERS franchise but, when you look at its monstrous box-office take, it's hard to deny that he's not giving audiences what they want. Bay's latest (and final) stab at the ongoing battle between the Autobots & Decepticons looks to throw a new element into the saga by taking us back to the time of King Arthur and Camelot for portions of the story. Despite not being the biggest fan of the TRANSFORMERS franchise, I've got to admit, that little hook may just be what it takes to get me to check out TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT. After teasing it with a rapid fire behind-the-scenes peek earlier today, the first trailer for the latest TRANSFORMERS epic is finally here!

"You want to know don't you, why they keep coming here?"

Earlier this year our own Editor-in-Chief Paul Shirey revealed that King Arthur, Merlin and Camelot would have a part in play in TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT. Even though that scoop was later confirmed as set-photos, casting announcements and videos from Michael Bay himself began to roll in, it was certainly nice to see some of those Arthurian shenanigans on display in the trailer.

TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT will hit theaters on July 23, 2017.
