The trailer and DVD art for HOSTEL PART III have just hit the net, both of which you can see below. I must admit, I didn’t expect much from this straight-to-DVD effort, mostly because I thought the franchise already felt weary by the end of part two, but some of this flick actually looks promising. At the very least, there’s a new atmosphere to the grisly proceedings; the grimy Eastern European feel of the first two movies has been replaced with a distinctively Las Vegas-y, high-tech glitz. I can dig it.
The synopsis: High stakes gambling takes on a sinister new meaning in this third chapter of the terrifying HOSTEL series. While attending a bachelor party in Las Vegas, four friends are enticed by two sexy escorts to join them at a private party way off the Strip. Once there, they are horrified to find themselves the subjects of a perverse game of torture, where members of the Elite Hunting Club are hosting the most sadistic show in town.
HOSTEL PART III stars Kip Pardue, Thomas Kretschmann, John Hensley, Sarah Habel, Skyler Stone and Chris Coy. The DVD comes out on DECEMBER 27th and features commentary from director commentary with Director Scott Spiegel and actor Kip Pardue.
