Generally I don't spend too much time on official websites for films because they offer very little in terms of content that we haven't seen anywhere else. Whether it be the trailer or promotional pictures, there's just not a whole lot there in terms of media. That's why I'm super excited to share with you the official JURASSIC WORLD website. If you haven't checked it out before, the site itself is set up JUST like a theme park. You have your park capacity, ticket packages, travel and ride information, wait times, available merchandise and even security feeds from around the park. It's easily one of the coolest sites I've seen for a film and does a great job at setting up the Disney/Universal Studios tone that they're going for with JURASSIC WORLD.

One of the aspects I think director Colin Trevorrow completely nailed is setting up a living, breathing park that people actually want to go to. For me, that was always one of the most appealing aspects of JURASSIC PARK in that you would believe someone would make a theme park if they could recreate dinosaurs. JURASSIC WORLD just seems like the next logical step. Given how much audiences took to Chris Pratt in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, I think we're all itching to see him pull off another, more serious, leading man role. Especially if those latest Indiana Jones rumors hold any weight.

JURASSIC WORLD opens on June 12, 2015.
