Can I just see EVIL DEAD already?
A few of my friends have seen it in advance, and have nothing but awesome things to say about it. I love when a good horror flick hits the genre, so if it’s as good as people are saying it is then hooray for EVIL DEAD! Unfortunately this sad sap has to wait until April 8th to see if I’m going to get the bejesus scared out of me.
The first clip for the film has dropped, and it’s a little creepy. Watching it, you already get the sense of how it is going to be different from the 1981 original. I mean, you obviously get the gist of that feeling after watching the red-band trailer, but seeing a clip like this one really hammers the nail that it’s going to lack all possible cheese.
Mia (Jane Levy) and friends have some bad days ahead of them…if they survive the first.
Synopsis: In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
