Turns out that Genevieve Jolliffe and Andrew Zinnes got Warner Bros. Pictures to bite on spec ABSOLUTE ANGELS, with Jolliffe attached to direct.
My hope is that the comparison to THE LOST BOYS extends beyond the surface gambit and actually intimates that the script has the same dark, edgy tone. If this turns into a simple WB-cast masturbatory exercise for 14 to 54 year-old boys then I’ll be sorely disappointed (not like that you pervs)
Now don’t get me wrong. It should be sexy, but adult sexy (like the bunnies below) – not O.C. sexy (which as we all know really isn’t sexy at all).
