The Mandalorian Season 2 Update from Jon Favreau

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I love the fact that the Coronavirus can't keep The Mandalorian from returning to Disney+ screens this October! Series creator, Jon Favreau, just gave an update regarding the Pedro Pascal-starring hit series' second season and I'm liking what the dude had to say:

"We were lucky enough to have finished photography before the lock down. Thanks to how technology-forward Lucasfilm and ILM are, we have been able to do all of our visual effects and editing and postproduction remotely through systems that had been set up by those companies for us."

Genius! With so many highly anticipated pieces of entertainment being forced into postponement because of that damn virus, I believe all us intergalactic geeks are happy as hell that we still have a definitive Mando date to look forward to! With the additions of Rosario DawsonTimothy OlyphantTemuera Morrison and Michael Biehn to the cast, this second season is shaping up to be quite the event! Who else if pumped about this?! I know, stupid question. But who cares?! Share your joyous Mandalorian S2 comments below!
