The Misfits trailer: Pierce Brosnan leads a ragtag group on a heist for gold

Pierce Brosnan is on a quest for gold in the first trailer for The Misfits, an action-heist film from Die Hard 2 director Renny Harlin.

The Misfits is set in the Middle East and follows a master architect named Richard Pace (Brosnan) who finds himself caught up in a major gold heist with major implications that go far beyond what he could have possibly planned for. The film also stars Hermione Corfield, Jamie Chung, Mike d Angelo, Nick Cannon, and Tim Roth.

The Misfits was first announced on February 12, 2019, at the Berlin International Film Festival's European Film Market. Principal photography began a week after the announcement and director Renny Harlin expressed his joy for having Brosnan being a part of the project. Harlin said "We are extremely excited to have him [Brosnan] on board. Pierce and I have been friends for many years and have been looking for a project to collaborate on for some time. I could not have hoped for a better actor to play our lead."
