The Mist Alyssa Sutherland

A television series based on the Stephen King novella The Mist will be debuting on Spike next month, and in the build-up to the premiere Spike will be releasing a series of videos to introduce viewers to the show's main characters.

The first character Spike has chosen to introduce us to is Eve Copeland, a young mother who will be doing whatever she needs to do to keep her daughter safe. As a bonus, we also see Eve interacting with an antagonistic woman named Mrs. Carmody in this clip, and anyone who's familiar with The Mist will know that Mrs. Carmody is a very troublesome person.

Re-envisioned for television by Christian Torpe, The Mist

centers on a small town and a family torn apart by a brutal crime.  As they deal with the fallout an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world, and in some cases, each other.  Family, friends, and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

The first episode of The Mist is scheduled to air on Spike on Thursday, June 22nd at 10pm. Season one will consist of ten episodes.
