The newest Bad Santa 2 trailer is safe for the little ears

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

A few days ago we received the second red-band trailer for BAD SANTA 2, featuring all the jokes that you'd expect from a sequel of this kind. I'll leave it up to you to decide whether or not the novelty of a bad Santa has worn off by now, but now we have a new trailer that's "theater appropriate". In some ways, this trailer is actually funnier after viewing the red-band goods, if only because of the vulgar stuff they had to cut out!

There were few moments that won me over in the red-band trailer, let alone this one. As it stands, this flick feels forced as all hell. The jokes are really obvious and the plot seems to rehash the original. This bit of counter-programming might pay off during the December weeks for those not feeling the Christmas or Star Wars cheer, but I'm not placing any bets. As far as I'm concerned, I think I can wait until Netflix streams this bad boy.

BAD SANTA 2 hits theaters on November 23, 2016.
