Director Mitchell Alieri's horror/comedy THE NIGHT WATCHMEN has been screening at festivals in the months since we shared the film's NSFW trailer, and while there hasn't yet been word on when the movie might get a wider release, a handful of images have arrived online to hold us over… and to help build up our hype levels.

These images don't reveal a lot, but what they do reveal are a couple very enticing elements – namely the presence of scream queen Tiffany Shepis, once again getting covered in blood, and what may be the film's greatest drawing point: a Clownpire.

Written by Dan DeLuca and Jamie Nash, THE NIGHT WATCHMEN has the following synopsis:

Three inept night watchmen, aided by a young rookie and a beautiful, fearless tabloid journalist, fight an epic battle to save their lives. A mistaken warehouse delivery unleashes a horde of hungry vampires, and these unlikely heroes must not only save themselves but also stop the scourge that threatens to take over the city of Baltimore.

In addition to Shepis, the film stars James Remar, Ken Arnold, Kevin Jiggetts, Max Gray Wilbur, Kara Luiz, Diona Reasonover, Rain Pryor, Matt Servitto, and DeLuca.

We'll keep you updated as THE NIGHT WATCHMEN works its way toward release. In the meantime, check out these pictures!
