The Northman: Robert Eggers’ new movie to be released in 2022

After the critically-acclaimed The VVitch and The Lighthouse, director Robert Eggers is completing his "The" trilogy with the upcoming Viking revenge flick The Northman, starring The VVitch's Anya Taylor-Joy, The Lighthouse's Willem Dafoe, as well as Björk, Alexander Skarsgard, Nicole Kidman, and Ethan Hawke.

Now we got an official release date for the film: April 8, 2022. Mark your calendars, I guess.
