The Predator gets a striking new poster

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

The last word we brought you guys on Shane Black’s upcoming sequel/reboot to PREDATOR was when we let you know that Fox CEO Stacey Snider called the movie “unexpected and utterly fresh”.

And today we have a look at new key art for THE PREDATOR.

At first glance, the poster seems to feature lightning striking a small town, forming the head of the Predator. But upon closer inspection, you can see that this electrical charge emanates from the ground and shoots up.

Does this mean anything? Not sure. Just pointing it out. You can see for yourself in the Instagram post below. We’ll make sure to upload the art when an official version becomes available.

THE PREDATOR is directed by Shane Black and co-written by Black and Fred Dekker. The film stars Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Edward James Olmos.

THE PREDATOR hits theaters nationwide August 3, 2018
