Back in April we brought along some stills and a promo teaser for , a supernatural thriller starring Mira Sorvino, Justin Kirk and Shane West. Now that the film has been picked up by Lionsgate and given a DVD release date, the studio has unveiled an official trailer for THE PRESENCE, which is executive produced by Daniel Myrick (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT).

THE PRESENCE is about a woman (Sorvino) who travels to an isolated cabin where she finds herself stalked by an apparition (Shane West) who has come to inhabit her space as his own. With the unexpected arrival of the woman’s boyfriend (Golden Globe nominee Justin Kirk), the dark spirit’s haunting grows more obsessive. Soon the woman begins to exhibit weirdly irrational behavior as the thin line between sanity and possession begins to unravel.

THE PRESENCE hits DVD on OCTOBER 4th.
