Well if you’ve been keeping track of Kerry Prior’s THE REVENANT then you should know it looks like it’s a pretty twisted independant gem. Or at least it seems to be, especially after Brian Kelley’s 9/10 review! So what do you think? Pretty solid trailer. After checking that shite out you should be sold. If not here’s THE REVENANT’s synopsis: When Bart is killed in Iraq and his body shipped back to the United States for burial, he doesn’t stay dead for long. He comes back as a revenant – a zombie that requires blood for survival. Instead of approaching his once future bride Janet about his unique predicament, he instead approaches his slacker, slightly unhinged best friend Joey. What happens next is an escalating series of misadventures as Bart relies on Joey to help discover the pros and cons of being dead and needing to drink blood.
THE REVENANT seems like a solid comedy/horror so you can definitely sign me up! Actually reminds me of this little known flick called MY BOYFRIEND’S BACK… early Matthew Fox and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, look it up.
