Author Scott Smith finally followed up his dark drama A SIMPLE PLAN with a horror tale called THE RUINS, and if you haven’t read the book, any surprises about the film’s “villain” are revealed in the new teaser.
If you’re still reading, the story involves several tourists who visit an ancient Mayan archaeological site, only to encounter some strange behavior from both the local villagers and the resident vegetation.
