While those who attended Comic Con in New York this weekend undoubtedly got to see some cool stuff, at least the juicy morsels are trickling online for the rest of us.

Comic craftsman turned movie maker Frank Miller unveiled some imagery from his adaptation of Will Eisner’s iconic character THE SPIRIT, including this early teaser trailer. So far it seems stylistically consistent with Miller’s only previous (co-)directing effort SIN CITY. I’ll admit I expected the hero to be more of a street brawler than an acrobatic parkour expert, but the teaser is just a example of the intended aesthetic (although a glimpse at the extensive cast of luscious ladies would’ve been appreciated).
