The Walking Dead Season 10 Finale Sneak Peak Reveals Returning Character

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

It's crazy that it's been a full decade since THE WALKING DEAD first premiered on AMC to bring the zombie apocalypse to our TV screens (or increasingly our computer monitors and smartphones). But here we are, ten seasons, two spin-offs, and the conclusion of the graphic novel series it's based on later, and the show is still (somehow) going strong.

A large part of what makes the series continue is its memorable characters, with a sprawling cast that grows with each season (and shrinks, with shocking deaths being another thing that keeps the show popular).

However, while we're not dealing with a zombie apocalypse at the moment, we are dealing with a global catastrophe, in the form of the Covid-19 pandemic (which hopefully doesn't eventually lead to zombies). And with that, it means that production on THE WALKING DEAD had to be shut down due to quarantine, and unfortunately the team wasn't able to finish post-production in time for release, as it was supposed to be airing this Sunday.

In lieu of the finale, AMC has instead released a sneak peak of the episode, showing the upcoming war between the dangerous Whisperers and their army of the dead against our fortified heroes, as well as the reveal of returning fan favorite Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan), who hadn't been seen since back in season 9!

So, what do you guys think? Excited about the upcoming finale? Either way, sound off below!
