This extended look at Aronofsky’s mother! is the epitome of stranger danger

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Hey there! I do hope you're in the mood to watch something truly unnerving, because we've got an extended look at Darren Aronofsky's MOTHER! that is bound to make you think twice before welcoming strangers into your home. I mean, you shouldn't do that anyway, and the video down below will present you with some damn good reasons as to why. Check it out!

If you've been left feeling slightly confusing in regard to what you just saw, allow me to familiarize you with what MOTHER! is all about. Directed and written by Darren Aronofsky (BLACK SWAN, PI, NOAH, REQUIEM FOR A DREAM), MOTHER! stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Ed Harris in a twisted tale about when a couple's relationship is tested after uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.

From what I can make of it, the bizarre house guests are part of cult that dabbles in the darkest of arts. With Javier Bardem acting as a vessel for their evil intent, Lawrence must defend herself and her home against an invasion of disastrous (and possibly Satanic) proportions. Again, this is just my summation based on what I've seen of the film so far, though I do believe I've come quite close to the truth behind the movie's insidious shenanigans.

We'll know for certain when MOTHER! invades theaters on September 15th
