Thor: Ragnarok TV spot shows more of Cate Blanchett’s Hela

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Like most people, I’ve like what I’ve seen so far from Taika Waititi‘s THOR: RAGNAROK. Hell, this might be the first time anyone’s been really excited about a THOR film (though I was intrigued by the first one, but that probably had more to with it being part of the first AVENGERS more than anything). It’s colorful, Jack Kirby-inspired, and just looks like loads of fun. Unless you hate fun, which then, you know, you do you.

One of the highlights has been Cate Blanchett‘s Hela, who’s really rocking the Goth aesthetic, and who seems to be relishing the role. The whole “you’re sitting in my seat” exchange gives me hope she might be another Marvel villain winner. Which,
to be fair, isn’t a high bar to cross. But it looks like she decimates that bar!

Meanwhile, THOR: RAGNAROK will blast into theaters November 3rd.
