SHUTTER ISLAND just recently had some screenings (of course, I was not invited) across the country, and word is quite positive. I know a few of the lucky f*cks who got a chance to check it out and they had nothing but good things to say about it. Looks like I’ll have to see it with the rest of the masses this weekend, but until then, we have some compelling, albeit brief, behind-the-scenes videos on the flick below.

What’s most fun is seeing Martin Scorsese at work. I mean, I could watch that guy in action for hours, no joke. I love seeing the masters in their element. And if we weren’t already convinced enough, we have Leo DiCaprio reminding us that Marty is the shit. Thanks for the newsflash!

SHUTTER ISLAND is the story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.
