TIFF teaser for Astron-6’s giallo-inspired The Editor, starring Udo Kier

Back in November of last year we learned that genre legend Udo Kier and AMERICAN MARY actress Tristan Risk had signed on for rowdy film collective Astron-6's giallo-inspired THE EDITOR, and today we have the teaser for the film to share with you before its screening as part of the 2014 Midnight Madness lineup at TIFF.

…“one-time (and now one-handed) master film editor toiling in the cinematic sweatshops of 1970s Italy, who becomes the prime suspect in a series of brutal murders.

Astron-6 are the crazy cats behind Troma's FATHER'S DAY and the insane cult hit MANBORG, so it'll be interesting to see what they bring to the table with THE EDITOR. Check out the groovy teaser below (I'm digging the music…a very PHANTASM-esque melody). We'll be keeping an eye on this one.
