Having given director Seth A Smith’s sci-fi horror thriller Tin Can a limited theatrical release last weekend, Dread has now brought the film to VOD – and to mark the occasion, we’ve gotten our hands on an intense EXCLUSIVE clip from the movie! You can check it out in the embed above.
Scripted by Smith and Darcy Spidle, Tin Can tells the following story:
Cold, pale and in the dark, Fret (Anna Hopkins) crashes back to consciousness inside a small metal chamber. Inside her confined cell, Fret attempts to piece together how she was imprisoned. As a scientist, who was on the brink of discovering a cure from a deadly plague, Fret desperately works to escape her cell to save the last of humanity.

Anna Hopkins (The Expanse) is joined in the cast by Simon Mutabazi (Sex & Violence), Tim Dunn (The Lizzie Borden Chronicles), Kristin Langille (Let’s Get Physical), Amy Trefry (I Hear You), Chik White (The Sinner), Woodrow Graves (The Crescent), and the legendary Michael Ironside (Total Recall).

Director Seth A Smith has several short films on his filmography. He made his feature directorial debut with the fantasy mystery Lowlife in 2012 and followed that up with the horror film The Crescent in 2017. Tin Can is his third feature. All three of his features have been co-written by Darcy Spidle.
