I know what day it is, but before you say anything, this is a legit story.

Remember that list of contenders we had last month for the role of Doctor Doom in the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot? Well, they’ve finally chosen the one, and it was one of the guys I suspected it would be—Toby Kebbell.

Kebbell is definitely on the rise. I always just refer to him as Johnny Quid from ROCKNROLLA even though he’s been in a ton of movie since then. His name has been dropped in quite a few shortlists. His next film is DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES in which he plays Koba, an alpha ape.

We don’t know much about the plot at this point, but many of us already know about the adventures of the FANTASTIC FOUR. This reboot lead by director Josh Trank will feature a younger version of the characters with a cast that includes Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR hits theaters on June 19, 2015 with a sequel to roll out on Summer 2017.
