Todd in 3 Afterall

Fangoria learned today that Tony Todd will infact have a small cameo in FINAL DESTINATION 3- contrary to previous reports that he would not be returning for the 3rd time around.

Playing Dr. William Bludworth aka Death in both the original and FINAL DESTINATION 2, Todd is back at it for number 3… not as his doctor charactor, but as the voice of the roller coaster that eventually kills all dem folks in the opening sequence. And no, the coaster’s not like a talking coaster, I’m talkin’ about the welcoming voice to the coaster, which has a Devil theme.

I must say that’s one creative way to weave the one and only recurring charactor/actor in the film- Todd’s a welcoming presence for sure.

But why not include Dr. Bludworth in the film? Apparently writters Glenn Morgan and James Wong couldn’t find a logical way to bring him into the story, as it’s set in a different state than the other two movies. Logic, folks. In a movie about creative ways to kill people, including being baked in a tanning bed. Gotta love these guys!
