Last month it was announced that the release date for TOY STORY 4 had been pushed back from 2017 to 2018, but during a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Tom Hanks revealed that production is already underway on the fourth installment in the franchise.
We're now recording Toy Story 4. So we're doing that and it will be out in 2018, so it takes a long time… We are working on it right now. I have a recording session on the second of December.

Hanks also went on to say he actually got in trouble with Disney for even saying there's going to be a fourth movie.
