In some alternate reality in which COVID-19 hasn't swept the globe, Tom Hanks' World War II drama GREYHOUND would be hitting theaters tomorrow. Just like every other film out there, GREYHOUND was delayed thanks to COVID-19, but the movie was later acquired by Apple who planned to debut the film on their Apple TV+ streaming service.

It seems that we don't have much longer to wait as Apple announced today that GREYHOUND will debut on Apple TV+ on July 10th. Inspired by real events, GREYHOUND stars Tom hanks as Ernest Krause, a Navy officer who must lead an international convoy of 27 ships on a treacherous mission across the Atlantic to deliver thousands of soldiers and much-needed supplies to Allied forces, all while being pursued by German U-boats. Based on "The Good Shepherd" by C.S. Forester, GREYHOUND was directed by Aaron Schneider (GET LOW) from a script by Tom Hanks. In addition to Hanks, GREYHOUND also stars Elisabeth Shue (DEATH WISH), Stephen Graham (THE IRISHMAN), and Rob Morgan (JUST MERCY). Will you be checking out GREYHOUND when it lands on Apple TV+?
