Tom Savini to appear on The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Legendary movie host Joe Bob Briggs has gotten some cool guests to join him on his The Last Drive-In series and specials on the Shudder streaming service. Reggie Bannister, Barbara Crampton, Michael Berryman, Tom Atkins, and Felissa Rose have all appeared on the show in some capacity, and Rose has even stuck around as Last Drive-In's "Mangled Dick Expert". Last week, the season 2 premiere of The Last Drive-In had wrestler Chris Jericho co-hosting BLOODSUCKING FREAKS… and Joe Bob has revealed that there will be another special guest on the second episode of the season.

Joe Bob took to his social media accounts to let fans and followers know that FX wizard Tom Savini will be joining him on The Last Drive-In episode that will air on Shudder at 9pm Eastern on May 1st. If you want to see Joe Bob and Savini interact but don't have a Shudder subscription, you'll be able to get a free 30 day trial by using the promo code SAVINI.

The title of the movie Savini will be on the show to discuss has not been announced, but there is some speculation that it could be MANIAC.

Watching The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs is always a good time and I would be tuning in to watch this Friday's double feature whether there was a guest involved or not, but since we'll be getting the chance to see Joe Bob and Savini have a chat I'm even more hyped than usual for this episode.
