Just a few days ago Jake was right here pimping out some brand new shots from Julian Jarrold’s THE GIRL, which is of course that Alfred Hitchcock flick heading our way via BBC and HBO. Pretty solid stuff, right? Well now here I am with over half a dozen more new images from the flick courtesy of Collider!
Most of the shots feature our stars Toby Jones and Sienna Miller as ‘Alfred Hitchcock’ and ‘Tippy Hedren,’ respectively but we’ve also got a couple behind the scenes looks at director Julian Jarrold as well. Alfred Hitchcock (Toby Jones) was at the height of his fame and creativity when, in 1962, he chose an unknown fashion model to star in his most ambitious film – The Birds. But as he sculpted Tippi Hedren (Sienna Miller) into the perfect Hitchcock blonde of his imagination, he became obsessed with the impossible dream of winning the real woman’s love. His failure arguably destroyed both of their careers.
BBC has slated THE GIRL, which along with Jones and Miller (below) also stars Imedla Staunton and Penelope Wilton, to hit HBO on October 20th.
