You guys ever hear of a graphic novel called MANIFESTATIONS? Nah, me either. But if you’re like me you’ll be hooked as soon as you hear the rundown for this shite! But I’ll get to that in a second.
First let me pass along the good word from Variety that Top Cow and Content House have just snatched up the supernatural graphic novel for a big screen adaptation! Want that synopsis? It’s coming, don’t worry.
But before we get to that I also want to tell you guys how Marc Silvestri and Matt Hawkins will be producing for Top Cow while Josh Morris and Mark Saffian produce for Content House. Hawkins added the following regarding this pick-up:
“With ‘Manifestations,’ [creator] Raffaele [Ienco] tells a dark tale but it unravels in an inspiring, hopeful way.”
Based on Raffaele Ienco’s graphic novel, MANIFESTATIONS’ rundown reads:
Story centers on a woman tormented by the ghost of her sadistic husband only to discover that he has been brought back to life by her psychically gifted daughter, a 10-year-old who can move spirits from dark places to the land of the living. Ienco created, wrote and drew the entire graphic novel himself with a film in mind.
