Are you a Canadian horror fan already looking to plan your Halloween-time activities? Well then mark down OCT. 17-24 on your calender (okay, a stray matchbook) because that’s when the Toronto After Dark Film Festival goes down. Aside from the usual madness that comes with one of these things, the fest is asking YOU to submit your wacky films so they can disgust a whole auditorium of people! And if that isn’t the dream of a horror fanatic, I dunno what is! Read on!

We welcome submissions of all forms of international and independent thrilling cinema including horror, sci-fi, fantasy, animation, crime, action, documentary, music videos and cult/bizarre films, both in short form and feature-length.

Our Festival is run by film fans for film fans, and attracts huge support from the large film-appreciating community in Toronto. Last year, the festival was attended by over 6,500 enthusiastic film fans and over 100 members of press and industry.
