Trailer: Agatha Christie’s The Pale Horse w/ Rufus Sewell & Kaya Scodelario

Amazon and BBC’s upcoming two-episode limited series adaptation of author Agatha Christie‘s novel THE PALE HORSE with Rufus Sewell (DARK CITY) and Kaya Scodelario (CRAWL) headed our way in March. And today we have the show’s first trailer to prove it. Check it out up top!

It tells the tale of

A list of mysterious names found in the shoe of a dead woman. When Mark Easterbrook discovers his name is on the list, he embarks on an investigation to figure out how and why he’s one of the ones named. Eventually, his sleuthing leads him The Pale Horse. Located in a tiny village, the place is rumored to be home to three witches. If the tales are true, the witches are said to be able to use the dark arts to kill off wealthy relatives.

Sewell plays the above-mentioned dude whose name appears on a list found in the shoe of a dead woman, while Scodelario will play his girlfriend, Hermia. Rita Tushingham, Sheila Atim, and Kathy Kiera Clarke play the three witches of Much Deeping. Other cast includes Bertie Carvel, Sean Pertwee, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Poppy Gilbert, Madeline Bowyer, and Ellen Robertson.

Sarah Phelps (AND THEN THERE WERE NONE) pens the scripts for the series which Leonora Lonsdale directs and Ado Yoshizaki Cassuto produces. BBC and Amazon’s two-episode limited series adaptation of Agatha Christie‘s THE PALE HORSE will be hitting Prime Video on March 13, 2020.
