There’s a Taiwanese movie I noticed a while ago that caught my eye called INVITATION ONLY. Mike told you all about it back in October but today we’ve got a trailer for the flick over in our videos section!
It’s no secret that I’m a fan of slashers. I’m talking all slashers. From the 80s to the late 90s. So needless to say INVITATION ONLY is looking like it’s right down my alley! You can go ahead and check out the trailer below and decide for yourself. The synopsis for the flick reads: It is the best party ever in which a “wishing game” takes place where at first dreams seem to come true. But when one of the guests is found brutally killed, the wishing game turns into a killing game in which the ordinary guests are the tortured victims and the wealthy partygoers are the sadistic spectators. The hosts want to be entertained and torture is the main dish. Enjoy!!!
Pretty much as ‘by-the-books’ as you can get… but it’s all good! As long as INVITATION ONLY looks entertaining I’ll give it a shot. It’s directed by Kevin Ko with the duo of Sung In and Carolyn Lin penning the script. The cast includes Maria Ozawa (below), Jerry Huang, and Joseph Ma among others.
