Thus July, STARSHIP TROOPERS and SLEEPY HOLLOW star Casper Van Dien will battle a modern-day pirate played by THE BREAKFAST CLUB and NEW JACK CITY's Judd Nelson. Actually it kind of looks to me like the two are in cahoots but all the same, the movie is called DEAD WATER and it's heading our way in theaters and On Demand from director Chris Helton. And today we have the movie's trailer and poster to share with you guys!

John (Van Dien) invites his buddy David “Coop” Cooper and his attractive wife Vivian onto his new yacht, encouraging the couple to relax and get away from it all. They embark on a sea journey on John’s yacht, The Bella which, becomes the stage for a deadly game that puts friendships and lifetime love to the test. As the ship treks farther into the open horizon, the characters become more isolated; and an unexpected mechanical malfunction leaves the yacht dead in the water, they decide to launch a mission to seek help. But is soon met by a modern-day pirate (Nelson) which becomes a fight for survival in the dead open water.
Chris Helton directs DEAD WATER from a screenplay written by Jason Usry. Mark Andrews produced the movie which stars Casper Van Dien, Brianne Davis, Griff Furst, and Judd Nelson. DEAD WATER hits theaters and On Demand on July 26, 2019.
