The Isaac Asimov's FOUNDATION series, which he wrote from 1942-1993 (the last one posthumously), were extremely important to the science fiction genre – influencing everything from STAR TREK, to STAR WARS, to the works of Philip K. Dick. And while people have tried to adapt the property for decades, Apple TV has finally taken the plunge to take on this monumental undertaking.
