Big day for our pals over at The Asylum; I just displayed the first poster for next year’s most anticipated movie event, 2-HEADED SHARK ATTACK, and now we’ve got a preview for ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, their undead extravaganza, which stars Ving Rhames, Taryn Manning and Eddie Steeples.

Looks like the standard zombie movie stuff – right down to Ving Rhames’ involvement. At least it appears to be a damn sight better than the DAY OF THE DEAD remake.

The synopsis: Months after a zombie plague has wiped out 90 percent of the American population, a small group of survivors fight their way cross-country to a rumored refuge on the island of Catalina.

Written by Craig Engler and Brooks Peck, directed by Nick Lyon, ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE will rise on DVD on DECEMBER 27th.
