Trailer gives a look at Danzig’s instant cult classic anthology Verotika

Verotika Glenn Danzig

Musician Glenn Danzing has made his feature directorial debut with the horror anthology VEROTIKA, a film that many who have caught screenings of it have hailed as an instant "so bad it's good" cult classic, the genre equivalent to THE ROOM. The film will be receiving a three disc home video release courtesy of Cleopatra on February 25th, and it's available for pre-order on Amazon at THIS LINK.

The three disc release includes DVD and Blu-ray copies of the film, plus a soundtrack CD.

Pre-orders have been made based on the film's reputation, but now we finally have something more to go on: a trailer has arrived online and can be seen below.

Written and directed by Danzig, who also composed the score, VEROTIKA is based on characters that have appeared in comics published by Danzig's own comic book company Verotik.

The film consists of three stories – The Albino Spider of Dajette, about a French sex worker who has eyes for nipples and is tormented by a monstrous spider; Change of Face, about a disfigured stripper who collects the faces of other women; and Drukija, Contessa of Blood, Danzig's version of the Countess Bathory story.

James Cullen Bressack and Jarrett Furst produced the film for Cleopatra Entertainment.

Porn star Kayden Kross hosts the anthology as a character named Morella. Her co-stars include Caroline Williams, Cody Renee Cameron, Alice Tate, Ashley Wisdom, Natalia Borowsky, Rachel Alig, Scotch Hopkins, Kansas Bowling, Tonya Kay, and Sean Kanan.

Cleopatra will also be giving VEROTIKA a VOD release at the end of February.

This movie qualifies as a must see as far as I'm concerned, I can't wait to check it out.
