Too Old to Die Young Nicolas Winding Refn

At some point we might be seeing a MANIAC COP remake that's produced by Nicolas Winding Refn and written by Ed Brubaker, but while we wait to see if that's ever going to happen Refn and Brubaker are bringing another project to the screen: a ten episode Amazon series called Too Old to Die Young.

Refn and Brubaker created the show together, with Refn directing all ten episodes – episodes that composer Cliff Martinez has said add up to a total of sixteen hours, indicating that they'll each be feature length.

Starring Miles Teller, John Hawkes, Jena Malone, William Baldwin, Carlotta Montanari, Celestino Cornielle, and Babs Olusanmokun, Too Old to Die Young will

explore the criminal underbelly of Los Angeles by following characters' existential journeys from being killers to becoming samurais in the City of Angels.

The trailer for the show can be seen below, and it is unmistakably Refn. Too Old to Die Young reaches Amazon Prime on June 14th.
