In the Tall Grass Vincenzo Natali Patrick Wilson
A movie written and directed by Vincenzo Natali (CUBE, SPLICE) and based on a novella written by Stephen King and his son Joe Hill is something I have to see – and Netflix subscribers are going to have their chance to see it in less than three weeks.

The film coming to us from that creative team is IN THE TALL GRASS, which has the following synopsis:

When siblings Becky and Cal hear the cries of a young boy lost within a field of tall grass, they venture in to rescue him, only to become ensnared themselves by a sinister force that quickly disorients and separates them. Cut off from the world and unable to escape the field’s tightening grip, they soon discover that the only thing worse than getting lost is being found.

Harrison Gilbertson, Laysla De Oliveira, Avery Whitted, Will Buie Jr., Rachel Wilson, and Patrick Wilson star.

Produced by Steven Hoban, Mark Smith, Jimmy Miller, and M. Riley, IN THE TALL GRASS will be available to watch through the Netflix streaming service as of October 4th.

The trailer for IN THE TALL GRASS can be seen below, along with the film's poster and a handful of images. This looks really good to me, and I'm interested to see how Natali has built a feature film around people stumbling through a field of grass.
