Trailer released for Russian sci-fi action film Attraction 2: Invasion!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

ATTRACTION was an epic 2018 Russian sci-fi action/romance film about

a spaceship crash-lands in the center of Moscow, and a young woman finds herself torn between loyalty to her seemingly normal life and the allure of a new state of being promised by one of the aliens.

It was well-regarded for its action set-pieces and special effects, and now has a sequel coming to digital and Blu-Ray in the US on July 21st. You can even check out the action-packed, SFX-filled trailer in the embed at the top of the article!

Meanwhile, here's the official synopsis:

Two years have passed since an alien spaceship crash-landed in Chertanovo. After her direct contact with extra terrestrial technologies, Julia, a previously ordinary girl, has become an object of study at the Ministry of Defense's secret labs. While undergoing their analysis, she discovers she is developing seemingly impossible superhuman powers. And soon she finds that not only are her fellow humans out to harness her newfound abilities, but that her amazing potential has made her the target of new intergalactic entities, plunging the world into a cosmic threat.

Looks like it could be cool (though I'm always weary about dubs; however, there's thankfully usually a subtitle option). I'm also always a fan of alien destruction, so at the very least it hopefully delivers on that front!

But what do you guys think? Fans of the original ATTRACTION? If so, how do you the sequel looks so far? Either way, sound off below!
