Trailer released for zombie horror-comedy Dead Again

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ had a baby, but had no money to pay for it? Because that's approximately what it felt like watching the recent trailer for the low-budget indie zombie horror-comedy DEAD AGAIN. Now, I don't want to be too harsh – the zombie and gore effects look quite good, and the lead actors seem to be fine and have good chemistry – so it looks like it could still be a fun watch. Watered down Edgar Wright is still better than most things.

Anyway, here's the official synopsis:

A virus is suddenly let loose in a rural village where crime is non existent, and a police sergeant is retiring out of boredom. He is sent a young recruit, fresh out of police school. They must learn to survive their first and last days on the job, in this apocalyptic horror film.

No release date as of yet, though it is expected to come to digital and DVD platforms later this year.

So what do you guys think? Up for another British zombie comedy? Either way, sound off below!
