A trailer has been released online for FRACTURED, a thriller that is scheduled to reach the Netflix streaming service on October 11th. I was sold on this movie before I even watched the trailer, as I saw that it's coming to us from a creative team that instantly has my full attention.

FRACTURED was directed by Brad Anderson, and I'll watch anything Anderson makes because his 2001 film SESSION 9 ranks among my all-time favorites. The screenplay for FRACTURED was written by Alan B. McElroy, who has previously scripted the fun slashers WRONG TURN and HALLOWEEN 4: THE RETURN OF MICHAEL MYERS… So yes, it's already confirmed that I'll be watching FRACTURED, and I didn't even need to see a trailer or read a plot synopsis.

But you want to read a plot synopsis, here it is:

Driving home after a tense holiday weekend with his in-laws, Ray Monroe (Sam Worthington), a well-meaning but overwhelmed family man, pulls into a rest area with his wife Joanne (Lily Rabe) and daughter Peri (Lucy Capri). The trip takes a turn for the worse when Peri is hurt in an accident and the family rushes to a nearby emergency room run by a staff with dubious intentions. After being sent away for further testing Peri and Joanne vanish and all records of their visit disappear. Ray’s concern turns into a desperate race to find his family and discover the truth of what happened to them.

Worthington, Rabe, and Capri are joined in the cast by Stephen Tobolowsky and Adjoa Andoh.

Produced by Paul Schiff, Mike Macari, and Neal Edelstein, FRACTURED will be available to view on Netflix in just a few weeks.
