Headshot Iko Uwais The Mo Brothers

What is HEADSHOT? It's a new action movie starring Iko Uwais of THE RAID and THE RAID 2. If you're like me, that's already enough to get you on board to watch HEADSHOT when it's released on March 3rd, but if you want to know a little more (and if you want to watch the glimpse of the film's story and violence that's offered by the trailer), continue on.

HEADSHOT was directed by The Mo Brothers, a.k.a. Kimo Stamboel and Timo Tjahjanto, the duo behind the "Dara" segment of the horror anthology TAKUT: FACES OF FEAR, the 2009 horror film MACABRE, and the 2014 serial killer thriller KILLERS.

Tjahjanto, who wrote the screenplay, also directed the "L is for Libido" segment of THE ABCs OF DEATH and co-directed (with THE RAID director Gareth Evans) the "Safe Haven" segment of V/H/S/2.

The synopsis:

A man suffering from amnesia washes ashore and a young doctor nurses him back to health. His past resurfaces to haunt them both in violent fashion.

The film's trailer can be seen below and confirms without a doubt that HEADSHOT is a "must see" film:
