Trailer unleashed for The Owners starring Maisie Williams!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Maisie Williams (THE NEW MUTANTS, GAME OF THRONES) stars in the upcoming horror-thriller THE OWNERS, which just dropped a new, tense trailer that you can watch on the top of the article. Here's the official synopsis:

A group of friends think they found the perfect easy score – an empty house with a safe full of cash. But when the elderly couple that lives there comes home early the tables are suddenly turned. As a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues the would-be thieves are left to fight to save themselves from a nightmare they could never have imagined.

Looks fun! Reminds me a bit of DON'T BREATHE or FROM DUSK TIL TOWN, where would-be criminals get caught up in something much more sinister. Could be interesting!

Meanwhile, THE OWNERS – directed by Julius Berg and starring Maisie Williams, Sylvester McCoy, Jake Curran, Ian Kenny, Andrew Ellis, and Rita Tushingham – will break into theaters, On Demand, and digital September 4th…but we'll keep you updated on any changes.

So what do you guys think? And what are some of your favorite horror movies that start out as crime movies? Either way, sound off below!
