While traveling around this here interwebs today I stumbled across an intriguing little flick that I just had to tell you all about. The flick is a slasher in every sense of the word coming from the folks over in the UK. Ready for the details? Of course you are!
The flick is called DEADTIME and comes from a script by Stephen Bishop. Tony Jopia will be directing. The feature stars Elisabeth Shahlavi, Carl Coleman, Laurence Saunders, Alex Marieka Hanly, Julian Boote, Terry Christian, Stephen Spencer, Matt Gibbons, Louis Murrall, Elle Wood (below), Leslie Grantham, Emily Welch, Joe Egan, Stephen Bishop and Adam Carrington Fray.
Love Meets Murder – the once popular rock’n’metal band, now down on their luck and their careers, seek to create their “magnus opus.
Locked into a scummy Wednesbury Studio for the weekend nobody can leave, but before the band has finished their first big number someone has already been struck down by a mysterious murderer.
Now only their own self belief can save them from the psychotic madness of their assailant.
Alright, it sounds simple enough, but it also sounds like it’s got the potential to be loads of fun! Deadtime Films are currently looking for distribution for DEADTIME with hopes on getting it released sometime in 2011. They’ve pegged a completion date of July 2011 for the film so it looks like we’re still a ways away. As soon as we hear more we’ll be sure to pass it along to all of you!
